We took the 757 THC vapes on this site that publish a batch result and sorted them by things you can check: tested THC, price per gram and extract. The highest-testing pen is an Abstrakt liquid diamonds disposable at 95.9%. The cheapest gram with a result over 85% is $4.50. Neither is automatically the right one for you.
Weed pen types: choose this first
A weed pen is one of three things: a disposable, a 510 cartridge on a reusable battery, or a pod that clicks into its maker’s own battery. The oil inside is comparable. The cost and the commitment aren’t.

Disposables need nothing else and cost about $2.50 more per gram. Carts are cheapest to run once you own a battery, and Pulsar lists those from $8.99. Pods tie you to one system: a STIIIZY pod only fits a STIIIZY battery.

Abstrakt, MFused and Dime Industries fill both tables. Abstrakt shows a batch result on 100% of the listings we carry from it, MFused on 97% and Dime on 82%, so these aren’t one lucky batch.
Is a higher THC number better?
Only if THC is all you’re buying. Oil is a fixed 100%, so every point of THC is a point that isn’t terpenes or other cannabinoids. That’s why the extracts people buy for flavor test lower. Across the whole site the middle half of tested vapes falls between 81.2% and 88.9%. Anything in that band is a normal, strong vape.

These are the pens to look at if taste matters more to you than the headline figure. Live resin is extracted from fresh-frozen plants to keep their terpenes; rosin is pressed without solvent, and costs more for it: a median of $58 a gram against $25. The least expensive tested rosin here is Lume’s 1 g pods at $30.

Not everyone wants 90%. Ratio pens mix THC with CBD, CBG, CBN or THCV. The first four in this table are the only vapes on the site that test under 50% THC, and MFused’s 1:1:1 pens come in around 30% in a 2 g disposable.
