Read that table carefully before you shop from it. Each row is the single best batch for that strain, and several strains appear only because one brand made one very strong pen. Purple Urkle and Pink Guava each have exactly one listing. High Wired accounts for three rows on its own: all three of its liquid diamonds disposables tested above 91%, whatever strain was on the box.
A fairer ranking: strains that test high again and again
One result is luck. Four or more is a pattern. Among strains with at least four published batch results on this site, these have the highest medians:
- Gelato: median 90.3% across 4 results.
- Berry White: median 89.6% across 5.
- Purple Haze: median 88.9% across 4.
- Apple Fritter: median 88.2% across 4.
- Northern Lights: median 87.9% across 7, the best-tested indica we carry.
- Blue Dream: median 87.0% across 16 results, the largest sample on the site.
The spread between first and last on that list is about three points. That’s the real finding. Once flower becomes oil, strain names bunch together.
Why the extract matters more than the strain
Guides that rank the strongest weed strains are talking about flower. Healthline’s list of high-THC strains starts at 20 percent, and seed companies such as Humboldt Seed Company claim averages in the low 30s for their most potent cultivars. Vape oil is concentrated, so the scale is different, and the concentration method sets the number.

Liquid diamonds and distillate sit around 87%. Live resin and rosin sit around 78 to 79%, because they keep more of the plant, terpenes included, in the oil. A rosin cart at 78% isn’t a weak cart. It’s a different product, and it costs about three times as much per gram.
Strongest indica strain and strongest sativa strain
By single batch result, the strongest indica-leaning strain we list is Berry White at 95.8%, and the strongest sativa-leaning one is Mimosa at 92.6%, with Strawberry Cough just behind at 92.5%. Across all labeled listings, though, indica and sativa are a wash: medians of 84.2% and 85.7%.
A high number isn’t the whole story
THC percentage is the one figure every lab reports, which is why it gets ranked. It isn’t a quality score. Terpene content, extract type and hardware all change what a pen is like to use, and none of them show up in a single percentage.
